Future Forest capsules are a native seed-and-soil solution for rebuilding upland boreal forest structure on industrial reclamation sites. They are designed for projects where the goal is more than rapid ground cover.

Future Forest combines locally adapted native seed with beneficial soil biota to support early establishment, plant diversity, vertical structure, and long-term ecological recovery. The mix includes fast-starting forbs, diverse low and tall shrub species, and early pioneer deciduous trees such as balsam poplar, helping disturbed sites begin moving toward a more functional boreal forest community.
